Buildex a world leading manufacturer and supplier of corrosion resistant self-drilling screws and fasteners, based in Melbourne Victoria. The manufacturing plant in Moorabbin, Melbourne is 19,500 square metres in size and consists of ten shape change lines, two heat treatment furnaces, four climaseal barrels, seven neo assembly machines, four high speed automatic head painting lines and two packing lines.
Buildex has sales, warehousing, technical service and despatch facilities across Australia and exports to 18 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and the Pacific.

SPIT is well known on the commercial construction market, specialising in concrete/steel fasteners. It offers solutions for all the construction traders : Masons, Electricians, Drywall hangers, Steelworkers, Plumbers/Heating technicians, etc. Created in southeast France in 1951, SPIT has twice revolutionised the direct fastening market, with the invention of the first powder-actuated nailers, followed by gas-powered tools for concrete and masonry.
SPIT offers a full range of fastening systems, more than 95% of which are manufactured in Europe at ten production sites: metal anchors, plastic anchors, chemical anchors and resins, powder- and gas-actuated nailers and the related consumables, power tools for screwing, drilling and demolition, concrete and steel bits, diamond drilling tools, and fastener accessories for electricians and plumbers/heating technicians.
